“North Staffs Cycling” was originally launched as “Cycle2000” in 1994 with the aim of providing country lane cycle rides with cafe stops as an alternative to other local clubs’ more racing oriented rides and also to campaign for better conditions for everyday cycling in North Staffordshire.
In 2012 “Cycle2000” changed its name to “North Staffs Cycling” to reflect the geographical area of its members, interests and activities.
“North Staffs Cycling” welcomes cyclists who also are members of other clubs including “North Staffs Wayfarers” and “Stone Wheelers” and its rides and activities have greatly benefited from this.
